Books and any other reading materials are very important because of the informations that we can learn. It is from books where we learned our first ABC, where we learned our first 1+1=2, where we learned the history of civilization and so on and so forth. Millions and millions of books are available from bookstores, and now in the Internet. Thousands and thousands of Authors are spending ...
their time to think of topics they can write to share, either about education, humour, life, business or anything. Some of these authors are writing for business and some are writing for free...just to share what they know. Whatever it is, the meaning is still the same...reading books or any other reading material is a way of learning and educating ourselves.
I don't have high educational attainment. I only finished my secondary education and no college diploma to my name because of lack of financial means to pursue college education. I wanted to learn, I want to experience how it is to have a college degree but because of the situation, it is just not possible. Since I knew that it's not possible, I made my way to learn myself. I indulge myself in reading books with a dictionary that is always on my side to find the meaning if I don't know the word. I read educational books, pocket books, magazines, newspapers, and any material which I know I can learn something.
I remember my late Uncle who was then an acting President of one of the Universities in my province in the Philippines. His success did not come to him so easily. He was a working student when he was in college. He was intelligent and managed to pass a scholarship program offered by the Government. He was sent to London to get his PhD and from there his life changed. He had been respected, promoted how many times until he became an acting President of that University. The lesson I learned from him which I always put in mind to this day is what he told me: "Whatever paper I see along my way, even it's a crampled paper thrown in the street, I just pick it up and read because maybe I can learn something from that crampled paper which everybody thinks is useless." I tried to practice in my life what he said since I want to learn, and what he said is really true. He was a man of great wisdom and his success was the proof.
This is one of the reason I made this blog...for education. Education not only achieved from school but by helping ourselves to always read books or any other reading materials that we see. By doing so, we will be well informed about anything in this world. We will be open minded and be able to understand everything about life.
Here, I have chosen books with useful topics about education. Books for kindergarten, secondary, college, and other books that can help to broaden your knowledge about anything. Books or any other reading material are really very important for us all. Thank you very much to all of you who paid a visit for me here and I will be very happy if you can visit me again...if you have time.
