He's My Brother...the song.

He's my brother...my favorite song. Everytime I listen to this song, I have a feeling of sadness, a feeling of respect and deep admiration to those brave soldiers  in the whole world who had had given up their lives for the sake of their own respective country. These men in uniforms are our great heroes. They sacrifice their lives, their love ones for the sake and love of their country. They were, are and will always be a part of history, not only through records BUT in our hearts. There had been no independent country, had it not been for these brave men in uniform who fight for our country's independence.

Everytime these brave soldiers, leave for a mission, it's difficult to describe the sadness that they feel to leave their children (if they have), their wives (if married), their parents (if single), but they can't do anything. They are going for a mission which they don't know what life lies ahead of them. They leave their loved ones alive, and they are not sure if they will still be alive to see them again. They leave their own country healthy, all the parts of their body are complete, in perfect shape of mind, but they don't know if after the mission they are still the same. There are some soldiers who, because of too much sufferings because of war, they were not able to bear it and they suffer psychologically. There are some who had been disabled and the most painful are those who lost their lives. Their families who were left behind sacrificing their feeling of sadness and loneliness being away with these brave soldiers. Second to be remembered are the families of these brave soldiers, because they are a part of what these soldiers had done for the country. Their  prayers is the strength of any soldier.

We, as citizens of our respective country should pray for the safety of these soldiers. They might not be our relatives, but these "men in uniform" were the reason why every country get their independence. If not for them, we cannot experience to live in an independent country. We deeply owe our freedom from these brave soldiers...our brothers.

Everyday after I go back from work I always listen to this song. And if any soldier happen to visit me here, this is my personal message for you. I give you a deep respect for serving your country by giving your whole life for your country's sake. I know it's impossible but I hope one day, there will BE NO MORE WAR. That all of us will have an  independent country with no blood to spill to the ground, that one day we will all live together happily and peacefully. That one day there will be no more hate which is the cause of war, no more lost lives because of war regardless of race, religion, beliefs and cultures. That one day all of us will realize that regardless of who we are, since we all come from one parent...Adam and Eve, WE ALL SHOULD LOVE EACH OTHER and live each other side by side PEACEFULLY.

  1. It's a great sacrifice, indeed, that a soldier would have to go to war ... and risk death fighting, but fight he must to preserve freedom and peace. Nice article as a tribute to the gallant men and women who unselfishly serve their respective countries well. I like your blog. You speak from the heart. Keep up the good work. Keep writing.
