Do you really want to go to college and have a college degree? Are you in a situation now that it's impossible because of financial means? If so, don't be discouraged. There are a lot of ways to achieve your goal. Let me tell you just one success story of a student in my own province in the Philippines as an example.
This kid is the son of my distant relative and the youngest. He knew that his parents cannot send him to college so he studied hard when he was in high school for him to be qualified to participate in a government scholarship programme. He passed the examination and pursued his college course until ...
he graduated and now a successful degree holder and have a high ranking job. Because this kid was really determined to have a good future and he knew of his' parent's financial situation, his patience and perseverance made him achieved his goal. His success is a good example for students who are in the same situation.
You can also find yourself a job and be a working student. There are a lot of ways if you want to...just search that way and you will surely find it. You need to be strongly determined that one day you can achieve your goal. You will be somebody who is "one of the best" with the profession that you choose. Determination however, is not enough. You need patience. Patience to whatever difficulties you are presently encountering or to encounter on your journey. Not to be discouraged with "all" the difficulties and trials no matter what. If you have this strong determination and patience, then you have the courage to persevere for your purpose of achieving a "college degree" and a profession of your choice.
Your future depends on yourself...what choice you make. The most that your parents can give is only guidance and support. It is you who can only decide for yourself. Your parents will not be by your side for the rest of your life. Make the most of it while they are still with you and make them happy by showing them your strong determination, patience to overcome whatever difficulties you are experiencing or to experience, and perseverance to keep on doing what you have determined yourself to be. They will be happy because they know that "if" their time will come to leave you in this world, you are already secured with your own life. Treat your parents as your "best and real friends" because more than anybody else, only your parents knows what's best for you. Give love and respect to them (if they are still alive) because by doing so, you will be blessed and guided by GOD. BUT, one day if you already achieved success, don't forget them. Even though they have not been able to support you financially for what you need, their love, prayers and guidance is the most important. TO LOVE AND RESPECT YOUR PARENTS IS SHOWING YOUR LOVE AND RESPECT TO GOD AND YOU WILL BE RICHLY BLESSED BY DOING SO. Best wishes to you all...
